Don’t let bad actors fool your help desk

Because “bad actors” are sometimes very good actors

No security-conscious MSP wants to discover someone on their team accidentally reset a password or unlocked a user account for a threat actor impersonating a legitimate customer. Being able to verify caller ID first is essential.

That’s why ZeroTek makes it easy for your techs to confirm that people contacting your help desk are who they claim to be before doing anything in a customer Okta Org—especially security-sensitive user management actions.

ZeroTek’s Verify Caller ID feature uses the Okta Verify authenticator app to push a multifactor authentication (MFA) challenge to a user’s phone, then lets your help desk personnel see whether the challenge was met with success or failure.

Of course, ZeroTek’s audit logs provide details for both the action of issuing the challenge and the outcome.
