Introduction

ZeroTek makes it easy for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to resell, deploy, and manage Okta’s enterprise-class Identity and Access Management (IAM) from a multi-tenant single dashboard.

When a prospect faced a cyber attack, New England Network Solutions (NENS) used ZeroTek | Okta to secure the company’s email and network that same day — stopping further damage and gaining a customer.

Using ZeroTek | Okta, NENS did the following to restore and secure the company’s email within hours and stanch any further damage from the attack:

  • Created an Okta Org from ZeroTek and a new Microsoft 365 tenant.
  • Integrated the Okta Org with M365.
  • Leveraged Okta Lifecycle Management (LCM) to rapidly  provision the company’s users and provide Okta single sign-on (SSO)  access to M365/Office apps, including email.
  • Configured strong and threat- responsive Okta policies to secure all the company’s user identities with SSO and multifactor authentication (MFA) while still offering an easy, low-friction end-user  experience.

To reduce IT friction for users, NENS wanted a platform that would make customer  migrations to SSO/MFA easy and efficient.  With an eye on long-term success, NENS also wanted to standardize their tech stack with reliable, scalable, pay-as-you-go solutions that were able to manage multiple clients simultaneously, no matter the size.
