Role-based access control (RBAC) tailored for MSPs

Implement best practices for least-privileged access across your MSP staff by leveraging ZeroTek’s role-based access control (RBAC). Our six built-in user types are tailored to how most MSPs operate, so it’s easier to set up granular, least-privileged access for everyone on your team.

  • Administrators – Two administrator roles (one read-only) have access to everything in ZeroTek and all customer Okta Orgs.
  • Technicians – Two technician roles accommodate common MSP staffing structures. Both technician types can perform comprehensive day-to-day management tasks for assigned customer Okta Orgs, but one has access to additional admin-level functions in Okta.
  • Help Desk – Our one help desk role is ideal for technicians who need to perform help desk operations related to applications, groups, users, and policies for assigned customer Okta Orgs, but should not access advanced controls or more sensitive information.
  • Billing – Our billing role allows MSP finance staff to access billing details for each customer but provides no visibility or management of Okta Orgs.
